Videos - Lapping: 12/10/15 CTMP DDT - Best Lap, Four Kills
Hey everyone.
It's been a while since I was on civicforumz.ca last so I thought I'd put up a couple of videos to show what I've been up to.
This past Monday October 12th I went to the open lapping session hosted by the Touge guys at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on their Driver Development Track. There were everything from little project cars to high-end sports cars that day. The temperatures had been dropping to near freezing over night leading up to the event. The track was cold and made for some scary moments at the beginning but it started to warm up by mid-afternoon and helped the tires to warm up too.
This first video was taken on my iPhone 5S using the Track Addict app. It was mounted on the inside of the windshield. I was trying to beat my best time at the DDT but given the track conditions it wasn't going to happen. I managed 1:52.
The second video was taken with my GoPro mounted on the front of the hood. I chased down a second generation Miata, 2014 Dodge Charger R/T, what looks like a 2009-ish Porsche Carrera S and a Subaru BRZ in just under 6 minutes
I have a 1993 Honda Civic del Sol Si with an NA built high-compression d16z6, 5-speed with Quaife LSD, suspension upgrades and "big brake" upgrade. I'll put a build thread up soon.
