some pics of my ride

don't think I ever posted pics of my ride so thought I would share.

guess i'll post some of my before and after's...suspension, headers, and rims are sitting in my basement waiting to go on still.

before:

after: (1-pce halo angles, skyline pop-out tails, ws2 full exhaust, lazurite blue metallic paint, 00' gsr leathers, skunk 2 short shifter, opt jdm whale ***** intake)

still need to put on shocks, springs, ss headers, and 17 rims. then i need to dress up the engine bay to look nicer.

what you guys think?

cheers

un-honest opinion - looks good

honest opinion - liked the car 100x more before the transformation.

i think you need to get your engine bay matched to the exterior color.

other than that; at least it's not a cookie-cutter civic like mine

i liked it milano red more, however, few things,

imo
1)it would look better with stock lights with jdm side corners. as the full clear and white angel eye light housings offer no contrast to the car and makes it look boring and cheap.

2)The rear lights must go and definitely ruin the whole cars appearance, they are very cheap looking lights and ricey.

3)17" rims are too big for our civics it is counterproductive in terms of making the car look more appealing, max should be 16" with 45-40 profile. you may have rubbing issues with 17" rims as well

I love the side skirts and lip kit all around which is exactly what i have including the spoiler, howevr i think those 3 things above would or do wreck the appearance of the car.

hey man, i lover what you have done with your ride so far. i think it will be even better once you do the suspension and rims. I personally like more rim than tire but at the same time you deffinetly dont want any rubbing in the wheel well. id say check the 17s see how they fit before going with anything smaller.

engine compartment: I deffinetly think you need to do something with the engine compartment, lose the red, and i would say add some of the color u used for the body to paint the frame parts in there as well as some polished aluminum for the engine parts and maybe some blue for the hoses and wires.

for engine bay i dont think its a biggy, ide rather it look good on the out and then eventually do the inside but assuming since u didnt already dip the whole car bc of the cost dont bother with the engine paint just leave it be. and as xscorpio said the sir tail lights, red and white same like the 96-00 civics but reversed color tails will be your best bet.

thanks for all the feed back guys, a lot of good points but in the end these are the choices i made. I thought about red/white tails but couldn't find a decent set at the time. prolly going to get 16's if i find a good trade as i do agree 17's start to push it. when this engine dies, i'll drop a b16 and get the engine bay sprayed. for now, she still has some ***** and kinda stands out from all the other civ's out there. not perfect...just origanal like me.

happy motoring everyone!

i agree entirely although i dont mind the color paint.. and even if you do fit 17s on it without rubbing.. it may look odd/high... 16s may b ideal on an EG imo.

After further review if you put the stock sides and front lip back, lower it, some non rice 15's would look hot as hell

kinda like brownkid's eg

some more pics of da car: (i like the lights cause the way they light up)

the rims are made by DAI but i'm to lazy to go dig them out and check the part name. I'm going to get 16's and i'll post pics of the 17's soon as i try to trade. Thanks for the head up on the license plate, i've been pulled over once already and they gave me a warning but i'll always find a way out of da coppers grip.

cheers everyone
