Buddy, I don't know how much you actually know about the world, but most of these videos are from Dubai and last I checked they have broken every record out there in terms of innovation, business and landscape. Now that is using money well.

Another thing, you actually think spending money a on a rice can like the older civics is "MONEY WELL SPENT" lol you are following a trend started by the Japanese, wow you are cool. These guys are breaking records even with cars, they are Arabs who spend the money, but its also Arab "their own" programmers building these 1000bhp SUV's that are owning modded Lamborghini's modded by professional tuning companies, now that is cool, if that’s not well spent money what is?

And btw I know Japanese people can drift. If you think that these guys were trying to drift.lol it’s not drifting, it’s a type of burn out competition they have with SUV’s going from one side to the other without loosing smoke, it’s much more complex then you think. Over there they have sand dune drag races, road drag races, drifting, burnout competitions, two wheeling, and rallies, check point (where they race through the city late at night from point A to B through the whole city) and much more.
and this is jus some of the stuff they do, they can drift trust me, and im not talking about just professional’s like in Japan or the experienced street racers, im talking everyone can drift there, but its not their thing.

If you want to talk next time please know your facts.

here are some drifting with stock 350Z guys doing drifting, and these guys are not professionals just people like you and me.

hahaha

I own a porsche, deciding on a daily driver for winter, probably a civic si.

Thats the difference, they would do that to a car, and anyone who is a car enthusiast would too, i throw around my porsche on the track too, but i maintain it well.

you can't really call yourself a car enthusiast when you cheap/chicken out. People just use "they got money" as an excuse to point fingers, and yet they themselves can't do anything. There are much more richer people then them in europe, asia and north america, but per capita they are more car crazy then anyone on the planet, and they use their car funds well, and i appreciate them and i don't have to like them too, skills is skills.

well you should take it easy and stop thinking you know most about the world...buddy
as for the rest, i didn't know what they were tryin to do there but i guess i just appreciate the drifting more. of course, if they got the money they will have the resources to get better in time, i just dont think the people from dubai are at the level where the japs are. do they make any cars over there, do you think they have the same "car culture" as they do in japan? all they got is a shtload of money overnight thanks to the americans. so now they can bring all these toys in and play with them. thats easy. do you know what i mean? everything that is constructed in dubai and abu dhabi is pretty much imported. foreign companies came with the projects, designs and even workers come from india, pakistan, china, philipines, eastern europe. now you get my picture? im not arguing anything, and i dont mean to fight about anything. this is what i know so far, my opinion. feel free to disagree if u must. i've never been there but i would like to visit or maybe invest someday. and if they want to they can become a great country if they do things properly. actually they're gonna have to do just that when the oil runs out in the next 50 years or so. tourism is prolly what they're gonna rely on.

I understand what you mean to say, though I was just saying that they are not into drifting, and you said they can't drift, so I was just clearing that up, and I respect that you acknowledge that you didn't know. This dosen't mean they can't drift, they have loads of different kinds of sports, just because some of them like drifting dosen't mean Japanese drifters now have smaller penises, you don't have to compare them. And other then that i agree with the other stuff you said.

As for the projects yes they have engineers who go there to build stuff, yet again they are not all north Americans, most of them are from Swaziland, England Italy and so on even Canada, and you should watch videos of the project, the only reason such projects and building look the way they do is because the people in charge handle everything, you should see how d... the people you claim who come from the western world build them are, they can't even get simple things as design or colouring right.

Let me guess you are a racist. I’m Caucasian, Italian to be exact. And your point?

I think people like you think you deserve handouts, stop being racist and learn to appreciate others, and why are none of the comments about just the cars?

You think its boring cool, keep it to that.

I’m surprised you call them dumb *** population that is hilarious to me.

Because

1. They have more money then you
2. If they were dumb when they discovered oil, they would have let the white folks take over their oil reserves as it was western companies that found the first oil reserves, obviously they know how to do business.
3. These people collectively invest in their country, and spend much giving to charities, how many millionaire do you see in Canada do exactly that? Not many to make a difference because everyone in USA and Canada could care less about anyone outside their own ego.
4. Coming from work I was stuck in traffic today, a refugee lady was walking past cars that were mostly bmw m5's Mercedes SLR’s, sti's, range rover s-classes, and not one ******* rolled down the window to give her donation, except one guy in a older version jeep wrangler, and me. I was shocked.
5. SMALL MARKET. Lol you should see the video “2JZ” I posted up, on average one guy owns like 5 or 6 super cars, that is not a small market. While young kids like you see them as something less then yourselves, there are many older westerners and Europeans who can get past racism and ego, who live there and make billions too, there are thousands of rich white people there not just “Brown” people. Magazines don’t cover them because of politics. You think sponsoring a twenty thousand sub-compact here is much more lucrative then a two hundred thousand dollar car project from them?

Yes some of them use American tuning companies, but most of them on a budget open up their small shops and tune and mod everything on their own, they just buy parts from over seas just like people do here.

I’m not defending them, I’m defending the fact the most of us north Americans are miss informed about everything outside our borders. Funny thing is when I lived there not one brown person was racists to me, they treated me like one of their own, and it disgusts me when people here talk about them being otherwise.

japs come up with the weirdest stuff. about what you said earlier...i don't entirely agree with you and, all in all, i gotta admit that my opinion about their car culture, since that's what this thread is about, was a little biassed since i don't appreciate everything about their lifestyle, or their politics. anyway it doesn't concern me much so i prefer to go and see it for myself and then talk.

hahah I love this video seen it many times, Japanese people love sliding and slicing, hehehe.

Yes, that’s a good idea, I learned from a young age its better to go and see things for yourself then base results on media, hope you the best.
