Well if my math is right, (based on quick calculations with rough estimates) the springs were 310in-lb front and 275 rear. On the stock ride height, they were barely compressed so barely pre-loaded.

Now with the fronts pre-loaded by 3.5" and rears by 4" the springs are acting like 1085 in-lb fronts and 1100in-lb rears (estimated). Much closer to an ideal 'race' setup. It feels weird sitting up that high and not having nearly as much body roll as you'd expect.
^Just realised last night, my math is off. I calculated wrong and the rates are incorrect. But the idea is the same.

I'll re-calculate at a later time and re-post some more accurate numbers.

Yeah, I hear ya. I will most likely change it or go back to the drawing board to try to give it a more finished/cleaner look.

Thanks for the suggestions. Much appreciated.

You should check out the CRC Tall Pines Rally... there's a handful of Civic rally cars in there, but they never show them on TV because all the top class Evo's and Suby's get all the attention :P

Mike- I think your name is mike, if not then i apologize. I saw the pics, really cool i like the lights. I was thinking the same in respects to the rally type. Mine would be like a rally hybrid, i think. Although i live in the city i do like to go fishing, camping ect. My resources are limited, i live in a building with a garage but all i can do there is paint. I do however work at a chrome plating shop and i have access to some goodies. My main problem is my lack of knowledge in regards auto mechanics. I am mechanically inclined but i lack that info. I've been a cyclist for nearly 30 years I've owned over fifty bikes ranging from $500.-10,000. I've built them all. Now i have a civic that needs a make over.
