The SEM paint is the way to go. I used it on my old civic and honestly you cannot tell that it was painted. Semi-gloss was what I used.

Also for the seats I'm not sure if you can just swap the rails off EG seats since I didn't have EG seats when I tried that. But from what I remember the hooks for seats are pointed in and don't line up because of that. That was 2 years ago when I tried so can't remember what else was off.

I only have one can left and still need to do a bunch of small parts.... if needed ill get more cans but hoping I wont need to already spent 100 buck on the 6 cans

anyway here is the rear piece from the back seats to the hatch ...looking fresh

I love the way this paint looks oem not painted and is not glossy if anyone is thinking of doing this SEM is the way to go.

so here is the latest update, I just finished my first coat on the drivers side door and ran out of paint and I still have a lot of parts to do so I recommend but 6 cans of black paint since 4 need not do it for me, I guess its always better to have more than less.

I wasnt going to install the interior until next weekend so its not really a big deal.
today I might head to fabricland and get new fabric for the door inserts.

Other than that theres really not much else I can do at this point, until I get new black seat belts and black carpet and after market black steering wheel

so I call the paint place and Ill be getting 3 more cans of black and one of the sand free.

picked up my fabric yesterday but still need a heavy duty adhesive to complete the inserts. All in all the project has been pretty smooth, removing the dash was the biggest pain.. not beacuse it was hard just that I drank the night before...not a good call lol

I hope to have everything reinstalled this saturday/sunday minus the seats they'll be staying grey untill Ive gott big money to drop.

the SEM paint is great against marks as compared to any plastic paint like krylon. I initially used krylon on a couple of parts of my interior and theyve happened to scratch(peel) easily. I used SEM to paint the plastic surround of my stereo and light dimmer switch on my EH. Ive also put a EK center console and arm rest in which were both grey, I used SEM to paint them to match the black interior and it applied great and is still intact.

I just picked up some integra DA seats for my eg...knowing they wont fit.lol

so i just tried bolting in the passenger side and only on bolt fit with no problems the other will have to be made by me.

I'm going to take measurement and weld new bracket on the integra rails... wont be hard as I have already done something like this for my buddys old 240sx :P

I wont be putting any interior back until next weekend since I have yet to get the dynamat.... and like we all know projects never take the estimated time and if you don't take the time to do it right the first time you'll be doing it over again.

if anyone knows of a good shop (not to expensive ) to redo my seats front and back in leather please post or p/m me . thanks
