"New" '93 del Sol and "old" '96 Civic Si

It's been about 3 weeks now since I picked up this car.
It's a 1993 Honda Civic del Sol Si with a d16z6 and automatic transmission :S - I hope to swap this to a manual in the next year. The car has spent most of the last 16 years in a garage. It's never seen snow and almost never seen rain. It's been driven very little in between. It has just over 152,000km on it. Aside from the short ram intake with K&N filter, aftermarket head unit, lowering springs and ALT Lite Speed rims, it's completely stock. Here's the only pic I have of it so far: https://www.civicforumz.com/attachme...ine=1342066940 Compare this with my 1996 Civic Si that I've had for the last 7 years. It's been an ongoing project. But now that I have the del Sol, I'm faced with a decision - do I sell or do I keep it? Here's a list of some of the more relevant mods: - CAI with K&N - Skunk2 intake manifold - Skunk2 stage 1 camshaft - Skunk2 adjustable camshaft gear - DC Sport 4-2-1 ceramic header - Magnaflow high-flow catalytic converter - 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust - OBX twin-loop muffler - 8.5lbs flywheel - Stage 1 clutch - Megan Racing short shifter - Silicone coated braided stainless steel brake lines - Hawk HP+ front pads - ATE slotted front rotors - Skunk2 front camber adjusters - Megan Racing rear camber adjusters - Skunk2 Pro-S V2 coilovers with 10k front and 8k rear springs - BWR rear lower control arms - BWR subframe brace - BEAKS 22mm ITR sway bar The motor was rebuilt approximately 90,000km ago. I essentially was building it to eventually become a track car with occasional street use. I took it out a couple of times since the most recent mods and it's a blast to drive. Here's a recent pic: https://www.civicforumz.com/attachme...ine=1342066940 I was planning on selling it since I got the del Sol and have had the coilovers, sway bar and subframe brace removed. The rest is staying on. I eventually would like to do the same to the del Sol as I have to the Civic. |
Nice del sol. Would be even better with that manual swap.
I've been having a blast with mine. Purchased it with a cut-off muffler past the catalytic and the thing roars!! LOL. This random female yelled out "That's disgusting!" LOL. Mine needs a paint job and a b swap and its good to go. |
