My new (or new to me lol) 95 coupe

i just bought a 1995 civic, 5 spd coupe. engine is recently re built. she needs a bit of wrench work but as a rice-er im happy to oblige lol. my plans for it: 3" exhaust, lowering, rims, body kit, CF wing and hood and other general riceage lol. not sure yet if i will get it boosted but if i do that will be later on. well, i guess now that i have a civic im officiallt part of TCC

Sweet dde! Looks prett good. Fresh paint I see...how are the rear fenders?

A civic like this is a blank canvas for the new owner. Do what you want with it and we'll do our best to help out out!

I just have to say though, with a stock engine, you will loose power with a 3" exhaust...Just sayn, for practicality and to save you time 'n money is all.

I love the look of the ej coupe, can't wait to see your project take shape!

im not the greates with cars but i will be learning soon enough. the exhaust is more for the noise lol not performance. i may look into getting maybe a b18 or b 16 and possibly boost it. (from what i read on TCC they seem to take boost rather well). in the mean time i'll be working more on looks instead of performance. ill be in the military soon enough so this will be more of a project/learning experience until i make the moneys to import a 95 supra as well when i do start planning on engine tinkering ill be sure to hit you and zeeman up with my questions

That's great news, congrats on the purchase. It's good to see your positive attitude and enthusiasm on how you'll enjoy making this Civic your own.

nice car. As Mike said, the 3" exhaust will not be the best solution and trust me you can make the exhaust LOUD without going 3".

And i lol'ed at paint overspray on the exhaust

i didnt notice the overspray at first too lol. i dunno, maybe 2" exhaust? how would you make it louder? i first started learning stic k on my bros 92 hatch and it has a 3-3.5" i think. so im used to hearing the noise, makes it easier to listen for shifting. any suggestions though? because i am in the very early learning process of car functions lol.
