If you need a windshield replaced, try star auto glass. http://www.starautoglass.ca/

REALLY good prices. And they can come to you to do it. Had them do my civic and my wife's accord windshield.

Thanks for the link! They have rear quarters for accords for a very good price!

Had a small smoke show today with the MX6. It's parked and tarped but took off.. er well the exhaust finally fell apart while removing the catalytic converter but the car sounds mental with nothing but headers.. at the same time, decided to remove the old hood on the Civic and put the "new" rust, bondo and dent free hood on. Looks great.

Will be installing the functioning ignition cylinder next week and possibly picking up some other stuff.

Parts are starting to come off to be painted

Picked up a set of Acura EL "Turtle" rims today for the Civic. They need to be cleaned up a little but they aren't too bad. Will remove the Acura center cap and replace with Honda caps instead.

Should be getting the windshield installed by the weekend, battery soon after and then find some Brembo Blanks for the fronts. Aiming to have it plated w/ a temp by the end of next week.. So I can take it down to a friends and get the quarter panels welded in for me, then it'll be ready for paint.

Installed the ignition cylinder today, works great. Been mainly focusing on stripping the MX6 but on Thursday I will be taking the short throw out of the Mazda and putting it in the Civic, Will also be inspecting the front end for any thing that could/should be replaced..

So what's left?

-- Battery
-- Windshield
-- Brembo OE Blanks & Pads (Front)

That's what I need to get the plates on and a temp sticker. Once that is accomplished.. I will be heading down to T.O and getting the quarter panels welded on, and then straight from there I'll be heading to a friends shop to start prepping for paint.

I was thinking of going with 205/50/15's for tires, Toyo Proxies or Falken Azenis.. Any other suggestions for a durable summer tire that won't bankrupt me completely?

Was able to get more stuff done today... just took a few photo's of some of the parts that were finished a while ago but didn't have any progress photo's of them.

From the Catalytic Back..

Magnaflow Resonator

Resonator to 5Zigen Muffler

Looks good.

Grabbed some new bolts from Lowe's, seeing how they fit.

Short throw installed with new shift ****

Rear strut bar re-fitted. Was polished but re-painted a flat black.

Seeing how the centre caps would fit.. need to shave some of the plastic off for it to go in all the way. Wheels will be cleaned up and re-sprayed.

Was able to get more work done on the tail gate, first coat of primer applied but need to fix some imperfections before continuing. Successfully shaved the key, I think it turned out very nicely. You can see some of the rust under neath the lights but didn't really go crazy with that as it's pretty far gone, just needed to make it presentable for safety and to last for a while, planning on getting a CF Tail gate in the near future anyways.

That is all for now

Yeah, you did seem kind of cranky :P
Nice meeting you as well.

Do you often come across any eg civic clusters with tach's? I want to ditch mine and grab one with a tach.

Let me know

Unfortunately I have to stop the build and sell the car because I lost my job and will soon not have anywhere to keep it. I am rather disappointed... :/

You don't know how perfect news that is!

Now's the opportunity to start your own business. The Ontario Government will give you a grant of upto $50,000 for 1 year and does not require money back! Even if you make mad profits during this one year the cheque doesn't stop!

Not to mention all the gas and food write-offs.

Best of luck, try to keep a positive outlook whatever you decide.

Btw, you never responded to me back about the welding contact.

$50,000 is a drop in the bucket to start a worthwhile business these days....

No. It needs a new motor and a windshield and a variety of other things.
