My Honda RIP

if you look closely in the 2 pictures I took of the motor, the actual block of the motor has a massive hole in it.
Coles notes: driving it to get to our spot, it quits while in full steam, we had battery troubles before, so we tried all that, still wouldn't turn over, then we checked the oil, it was fine, and then we tried to start it again with the cover off, and then BOOM, it blew a hole in the block and oil was everywhere. I was covered in oil, but still alive.
It is hard to take a picture of the actual hole because it is behind the starter as you can see. I'll try to show the hole better by editing it today.
DAMN!

The Honda engines are super quiet, I like(d) them.
Our 2 other boats have an evinrude and a yamaha. Going to upgrade the evinrude to a 90hp merc eventually.
Maybe put the 50 evinrude on the legend for the time being.
damnnnn
