shlammed 24-Feb-2010 04:06 PM

not worth it

JDMej1 24-Feb-2010 04:28 PM

damn, i dont think its worth it

D.T.P 24-Feb-2010 07:46 PM

If the frame isn't bent, it shouldn't be a big deal.
Get some quotes and see.

imarkus 25-Feb-2010 12:21 PM

Oh damn! I wouldn't

rick10 25-Feb-2010 01:25 PM

part it out man. If this is an si i ll be pretty interested in the engine. Thats at least 2000-3000 k worth of work. Car probably worth around 3500-4000 (tops). If you part it out you may be able to get at least 1500 for it ( if not more)

MyrMcCheese 25-Feb-2010 03:28 PM

its currently sitting in the garage at home in burlington....
im gonna be home in march too loo at it, take some parts off and see what im working with.
if the frame isnt bent id like too fix it up, its and excuse too upgrade!!

ACTION JACTION 03-Mar-2010 04:18 AM

Ive seen worse come back to life. Are you gonna fix it yourself?

l.d.forget 03-Mar-2010 08:16 AM

well there doesnt appear to be any frame damage, but thats going off of pictures and its a bit hard to tell.. if theres no frame damage, i say fix it. Whats it need? well, a door(~100 bucks), front bumper(~100 bucks), headlights(~150-200 for aftermarket), fender and inner fender(~100-130 bucks). So all in all ~450-530$ in parts, and none of them are hard to install at all. The hardest being the door, and thats only like 6 bolts. Easily changed with a friend to hold the door or if you have rafters in your garage use a rope. Is the rim ****ed too? or is that just the hubcap? I could be way off in space and have completely wrong prices or the wrong idea, but thats my personal opinion.

Nutella 03-Mar-2010 09:38 AM

nope not worth it

RJC 07-Mar-2010 10:54 PM

for the amount of money you dump into fixing(buying parts fixing the susension, and paint) it you're better off buying another civic...do you have anythind done to it?

JDM-KID 07-Mar-2010 11:48 PM

the price for a new ek thats stock will be less than fixing that, part it out and save a bit then get another civic eh2...lol are the **** :)

jdm ek4 08-Mar-2010 07:19 AM

If thats an SI and the sunroof glass is in great shape, ill buy it off you. lol Thats if you decide to part it out.

MyrMcCheese 23-Mar-2010 11:46 AM

well i think im gonna fix her up, it doesnt look like its in too rough of shape.
