they had nothing better to do then pull over a whole bunch of minis...media and OPP FTL

45 cars got caught speeding in that area over the weekend. Eleven of them were towed for speeding 50+ over the limit. None of the Minis got towed. Three Mini drivers got speeding tickets for 31 to 34 kmph over the limit. One Mini driver got a warning.

The Minis didn't get any special treatment and it wasn't harassment or a trap set just for them. They just had the bad luck to be speeding through an area while the cops were in the midst of a road safety blitz. Even without a blitz, that part of Highway 11 always has a lot of speed enforcement on it.

I knew there was story behind that. They wouldnt just randomly pull them over and tow them and give tickets. Thts another reason i hate going for a cruise with over 10 cars, your bound to speed or race one of them cause of peer pressure. lol
