Looks to me that he arrived the parking lot early with snow covered ground. Some parked next to it and some left. Ultimately, snow melted and people started to park in the parking stalls. The guy probably parked longer than he expected. The car could have been parked for more than a day or so.

Back in highschool me and some friends were out at the mall and when we got back some idiot parked so close to my car that i had to get in through the passenger side. Luck would have it that i had my hydraulic jack in the truck so we jacked up the rear end and pushed it over so the car was parallel parked it both spots. then we sat back and waited. It was hilarious because the retard couldn't get his car out until one of the other people on either side left. Had to see it to appreciate it.
