K20 Swapped CR-Z
...knew it wouldn't be long before someone did it... It should be available as an option. :)
Enjoy. Honda CR-Z + K20 - IMA = KR-Z |
the way it should have been built

Even KRZ embroidered seats, nice. I'm not a fan of the rear tails on the CR-Z and i don't really like K series, but that looks like a sick car and I already want a CR-Z, I think if I had to have a k20 then this is what I'd want it in. Nice find Mike.

yes i agree, good find mike!
i also agree with jdm_416 about how it should have came as an option, im not a big fan of the slow motor it comes with!! oh man i might have to consider saving the money up for a build like this :) |
if i was to get a newer car this is what it would be, for me though i dont need a k in it either. Keep it hybrid buy the spoon crz goodies and call it a day.

yeah but that with a spoon built K?...
I need a napkin, and a new keyboard. Then a CRZ, as if owning 1 car with no rear seat isn't inconvenient enough I want another. Even the Mugen kit looks good and I usually don't like Mugen kits. |
Looking at it from a racing perspective... I wonder what the weight distribution is like. It just looks so nose-heavy with it porportions... It looks over 60/40 (f/r). Would be interesting to set it up and see what it's like on a track... Also wonder what it would weigh gutted with just the k-motor...;)

that would be interesting, tons of understeer and lots of crashes if it had a K? i dont think it would be as fast as the rsx type-s either.

rear mounted K?
