Goodbye To An Old Friend
After 10 years I retired the civic last month. I spent countless hours between 01-05 working on the car, practically having it stripped down to the shell at one point. When all was done I drove it out to BC, where i lived for 3 years. When I moved back to Ont last summer, I also drove it coast to coast, visiting 9 provinces. Unfortunately due to monetary conditions I had to drive it last winter. But, with the help of a good oil spray it came through unrusted. This spring I drove it out to Saskatoon. Due to the over $1000 cost of having it ceritified to Sask standards. I decided to retire the car. I was only planning on driving it for the summer anyways. I havent sold it, prefering to bring it back to Ont in the summer using temp permits then stick it in storage at my parents. One day Id like to put a gage in it and and make it a track car...
So here is a pictorial tribute to my car. Ill add more pics everyday or so for a bit...
