Did some paint on the motor....

Here is a pic of it last fall when I bought the car....

Now here is a couple of pic's after the adding some parts ,cleaning and a little paint! I know there is some over spray that I need to clean up still but I will get that done soon I hope?

And just for fun here is a pic of the front brakes after some pain and the Bear rotors!!

So what do you guy's think? Looking better?

I did do the best I could I though in my driveway but found when I took off all the paper that some things were not as well covered as I thought? The wind was blowing a bit too that day so it may have had a hand in things?

Not removing valve cover to do a proper job = FTL

teal car + blue calipers = FTL

jdm h22 = ftw

1 out of 3 is not bad

That it dose!!! Love it nice to drive day to day but if you want it there is some good power there!!! lol Kinda thinking about building a H22 turbo motor for it to get more power not like I need it?lol
Kinda hard to tell but that is a new paint that's at CT it's Dupli-Color Metal specs! Love it nice paint but can only do a short stroke the shake and spray again, it's kinda thin paint but as they put it "Brilliant Metallic Color" looks great!!!

Thanx Guy's for the comments!!!!!!

looks good but id take a rag with some gas on it and rub that over spray off, it would look better cleaned up and also maybe some under coat in your wheel wells. Good job on the V cover!

To the OP, why blue?? why not a colour that's close to the colour of your car??

Doesn't match imo, but I think you did do a pretty good job though.

yes yes smart *** sorry I didn't major in English or anything!! I do know thats my valve cover I never did call it anything else. I just was saying I did stuff under the hood 'cause I did more than that under the hood!!!

The reason behind the blue is 1 my fav color! 2 there was a model of the H22 that did come from the factory with a blue valve cover! 3 My car is not gonna stay teal. I might be changing it next spring.

Now you guy's have to be kidding me about painting the calipers the same color as the car? Have none of you ever seen a Porsche or other high end car that has Brembo or other high end brakes that has Red or other colored calipers? Or how about buying the Spoon calipers that you can get for our cars, they are blue as well. Not to mention that the caliper paint kits at Canadian Tire only come in blue or red! LMAO just had to say that!!!
