id file a report for a refund from the ministry of transport or the municipality.

My aunt damaged her wheel and she filed a complaint or something to whoever is supposed to handle road repairs in Scarb.

Than with that money, see how much it costs to repair the rim and compare with buying brand new one.

My friend damaged a rim just like that on his truck, and filed a complaint to the town, and they ended up buying a new set of 20" rims and tire for his truck.

There's also wheel wizard in hamilton.

Theres no way you don't have a claim there.
Thats BS....if a pothole did that to your car I would definetly make them pay for it.

Thats crappy...
Could you take a pic of the rim standing up with a side profile view? Its hard to tell.
Judging by the damage to the tire, as well as the front of the rim, you rim is bent. You may want to get it repaired as it will affect tire wear, balance, alignment etc...

If you wish to get them repaired, check out Ric at Precision Rim Repair. Hes the only guy that touches my rims. With any rim work, you get what you pay for.
