Custom Body Work. Comments?

(type r lip which broke into 3 pieces, repaired, attatched to stock civic bumper, origional pieces cut out, mesh replacing it)

Not final paint, getting paint job when the whole body is mint and perfect.

I like the idea, but it would of looked better if you kept the stock grills and not that stupid ricer mesh.

you can just "put" the stock grill back on for EG's.

Body work is looking nice, Codie.

Did you mold the lip onto the bumper with fiberglass?

the bumper looks good nice work, I also like the stock grills on, no way on the mesh. If you do not like the stock grills, atleast leave it open but i think that mesh has gotta go sorry man.

The only way to salvage this is to smooth it out more, colour match it to the rest of the car and spray the chicken wire black.

i used bondo and a little fiberglass. And to all those who say replace the mesh with stock, it isnt possible, the owen before me cut it all out. It was nothing but open space, and it looks alot bett er with mesh in my opinion. but again not here to argue, thanks for inputs.

bondo?....... with a touch of fiberglass?

bondo is suppost to be a finisher to smoothen out surfaces... not as majority of the structure.

one good bump or 2, and that's gonna split.....

especially if you are going to drive that in the winter - it can and will become brittle. one good chunk of snow to hit the front, say bye bye to that lip and work.
