30mpg means its about 8L / 100km, my friends 1 year old 300c, gets about 400km to a full 77l? tank, its an over hyped number, my B16a2 gets me an average of 12km/L which is 30mpg 60highway/40city
DOD motors don't work that well probably because the car they are in, is heavy, if they put a V8 into a 3000lb package, then maybe it could provide an actual 30mpg or higher otherwise you pay to play, they provide a bit of a boost in MPG as it seems so far, and I heard some people complaining that the transition is rough, the 300c seemed seemless though, but still not 30mpg.

by the way, the wheelie is not impressive at all, the whole point of that picture is the fact that the amount of tq coming out of that engine twisted the frame
