Is YEARLY Rustproofing necessary or can you get by with every 2 yrs??

Hi there!

Quick question, is it absolutely necessary to RUSTPROOF yearly or can every other year be adequate enough too? ? Last season when I had it done on my Civic they greased it up soooo good that it STILL leaks out along the back trunk and below doors...I find I have to wipe it down regularly...especially after a wash. I know in the end the application that they applied must of been real thorough and well worth it, but I can't help but wonder how much more of a mess it'll be after a 2nd app. I've never heard of anyone else having this prob where you constantly see the black grimy crap still on car. I'm well aware it's supposed to drip for a day or two later but this long, hmmmmm??!? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks :-)

There may be other places on the car where the rustproofing has washed away etc...

I'd do it every fall, every year.

I say you do it every year to keep the car mint.
