My wipers on 02 civic work intermittently, sometimes they work fine, other times they wont turn on.
When they aren't working its like the motor is dead, but then when I lift them up and place them again on the windshield they will start working again.
weird eh!!
Every time I try to take it into mechanic the wipers work fine! What can i do? has anyone else had this issue? How do i reach the wiper motor; under the hood?

you gotta take the cowel off to get to the wiper motor.

When installing a new one be sure to install the motor and everything else except the wiper arms. Turn the wipers on and then off allowing them to stop in the park position and then turn off the car and install the wiper arms in the parked position as well.
