Steering wheel making constant clicking noise when I turn on right/left signals.

Hey guys...I got a Honda Civic LX, 2006, just bought it a week ago. My steering wheel making constant clicking noise when I turn on right/left signals. BUT, if I dont use the signals it doesnt make any noise. I did not hear the noise before, happening for last few days.

Anybody have any idea ? Is it something major or costly ?

Does it only click few times? It could be the airbag swivel piece that is mounted behind the steering wheel to allow connection without tangling up the wires.
Sorry cannot remember what it is called.
When you are parked, turn the wheel left/right and see if it clicks at the same place all the time. Also make sure that there are no visible objects hitting the back of the steering wheel.

Isn't that usually a balljoint issue?

i was referring to the cable reel located on the steering column.
But OP has 1 post and hasn't replied so I'm guessing hes not coming back.
