please help (d16z6 distributor/rotor replacement)

Ok guys i need your help here please..... the only car i've done a tune up on.. is my dad's corolla.. and the rotor on that has no screw or anything holding it down..... it just comes off with a tight pull...

well last night i took the distributor cap off my d16z6 and then went for the rotor.. and realized there is something that looks like its holding it down... looks like a screw.. :S but i couldn't figure out how to get it out because i couldn't get a screwdriver in that tight spot.... i'm 100% sure most of you do this yourself so there has to be a certain way..... help!

This shows the dizzy assembly: Part Detail)

#11 is the screw holding the rotor on. It screws in from the side. You may have to crank the engine over until the screw is in a position where you can loosen it off (don't have to take it right out).
