Place(s) to get maintenance work done?
so I've owned my 1998 Civic si coupe for close to 7 years now...
the last place I took it was to a Honda dealership since my breaks and shocks at one point were acting all funny on the highway... anyhow; they cleaned my brakes/sanded down the rotors, replaced a left arm/shock thingy, replaced my snowtires, and repaired and replaced my rattling heatshield... this came at a cost of $682.00 where do you guys (civic owners) typically get this kind of maintenance work done? Honda service facilities, or independant places? I feel that my fuel pump (I think is starting to go; last time it got replaced was in 2005). seems every now and then, whenever I start the car, it starts all funny on me. if you've got any recommendations, I'd greatly appreciate it. thanks! |

My car is no longer under warranty and I've stopped going to the dealer after realising how much they rip you off. I now go to Chris_V2 and Zeeman, contact them, they're in Oakville (QEW/Ford Drive).
