Passenger seat just broke> Easy fix?
 

Hi All...long time no posts! Hope everyone and their Civics are doing well!
Quick question, something broke under my passenger seat and now it's stuck in OF COURSE the closest position possible to the front airbag ! Just curious if there is a quick fix..with possibly a coat hanger ?? Or any other suggestions ?? Is this a common breakage in Civics or did someone just a wee lil' too big sit in my seat teehee j/jk ;) Thnx for any help !

This is not common, I've only seen it once or twice on civics, and it may of even be a different cable/lever than what's broken on yours.

And yes, there's always a way around it, however.. you're going to have to look at what\s broken, and manually move the lever or rod that it connects to if you want to have any chance in moving your seat. I can't really tell you exactly what you have to do, you have to look at it and see how the levers operate, then decided what to move.

Try looking at the driver seat first, then the passenger, they will be identical. Then you'll know what you have to move.
