oil in spark plug wells?

yestereday, after chaning my plugs...i found they were filled with oil to varying levels...the thing is, the tips were dry? so i know it's not a piston/piston ring thing...any idea's?

could the valve cover be leaking there? it almost looks like if the seal where the spark plug wells are is out? or at least it's visible and seems to be not aligned well?

its the spark plug tube gaskets....they're the little o-rings around the top of the spark plug tubes when you remove the valve cover gasket. Change them and you'll be golden.
