hi guys,

i just bought my new car (first car ever) its a civic 2dr pre-owned. since this is my very first car and have no car experience ever .. i would really appreciate some advice on how to maintain it.

Follow the maintenance schedule provided by Honda.

Changing your timing belt at 100,000k's is recommended, use the correct oil and fluids and chage them regularly and keep it tuned. It should last almost forever.

ya just basic maintenance should be just fine. Had mine for 8 years never even replaced the battery yet. Only when you fix it up you should do alot of research on these boards before buying. No one at the stores can really give you a good review unlike the people on these boards.It becomes a great source of info,
