help with valve adjustment

hey guys, i think my valve lifters are ticking and i was told that its easy to adjust, anyone wanna give me a rundown of what i need to do?? i have never done it before so im not sure whats involved...

You can get it done at a Honda or Acura dealer for around $100 if you don't know how, or don't want to do it yourself.

I did a write up a lil while ago... should be able to find it in a search... prolly best words to search for will be "feeler gauge"

Actually my car has the same problem and it had it since about 2 years ago. I went twice to Honda and once to a specialized Honda place in Brampton and nobody could fix the problem. All these guys claim to have "adjusted" the valves, but every morning when it's cold the engine ticks for about 1-2 minutes before it warms up. Not sure what was actually adjusted in the engine, but if there is a way to adjust this, and if it's easy, I'm willing to give it a try.

piston slap makes noise so do really cold injectors

pop the hood and listen with zen-like focus. let the melody penetrate your scull... envision the motion of the rotating assembly. it's not always valves...
