HELP with TPS sensor
hey guys,
i recently found out that the idle problem on my car is due to the Throttle position sensor malfunctioning now..the thing is, i went to Toronto JDM and picked up a replacement sensor, the problem im having is...i dont know how to remove the old one.. the two bolts look like they've been shaved off...theres no grip for me to use a plier or a grip to use a screw driver....any ideas? anyone ever do this? i have a 2000 civic CX, any help is appreciated...i dont want to waste money at a mechanic just cuz i cant remove this thing...argh |
You must remove the throttle body from the vehicle and drill the 'bolts' out of the throttle body. They are fasteners that have had the heads sheared off of them from the factory.
