Help: check engine light is on
I am driving an 2000 civic EX 4 dr.
Outta no where, the engine check light was on (ast night). Everything was fine before it. But after the light was on... the car idles kinda low ( around 500 rpm), and vibrates.
does anyone has any experience on this?? anyone know what the cause it??

well, the proper procedure is to check the check engine code to see what it says, most likely a misfire on one of the cyls. prolly your rotor and cap need replacing. also, this thread belongs in the maintenance forum.
