Gas Gauge Issue

After the tank reaches about half the gas needle dances around for a bit. I know this happens to older cars but I didnt expect it on my 2000 SI. Does anyone know the quickest solution to fix this

I have a 96 EK and it does the same thing as well but all the time will go from full to just above half tank let off the gas and it goes back up to full its really crazy! wondering it the fuel gage in the tank is shot? maybe dont know if that would do some thing like that or not though

Try taking a hard turn, like on a on/off ramp, the needle will go beyond the red. I panicked 1 or 2 times, but then got used to it.

My friend got a "jdm" cluster and the needle doesn't dance around as much. Still moves, but not as much.

my old si used to fly around like crazy, my dx isint as bad, but its definitely a common Honda problem, if you change the fuel pump would it make a difference?

Could be a bad/faulty sending unit?
