Gapping Spark Plugs
I just changed my spark plugs today on a stock d16a6 with NGK G-Power plugs.
It recommends to gap them to 0.044" on a stock d16a6 motor. I bought a lil $4 dollar tool that gaps the spark plugs. I started it up, it idled and ran much smoother than before. No pinging. For the most part, the wider the spark plug can get gapped, without stalling or misfiring, the better. here's a chart for HONDA's for proper gapping fro NGK G-Power Plugs: CLICK HERE Btw, I do have a crane ignition with MSD Coil and cap. :) here's a pic of the tool used: https://users.ntplx.net/%7Eullman/images/8e.jpg |
