fuel economy

Hi i just grabbed a 2000 civic sir and am wondering what are the best things to do for fuel economy? ive done oil change, plugs, wires, map, distributer, new cat, replaced both oxygen sensors, changed air filter and fuel filter had a few engine codes but just got rid of last one today by getting distributer changed,
My last tank of fuel only got me 230 miles which i found to be pretty low i might of hit vtec maybe 5 times for that tank and only in one gear until id shift, could it of been from the engine lights? code was p1381 car felt like it would miss at times under light throttle

when your engine light is on you are dumping a shitload of fuel. fix that first.

One of my best tanks of gas when I had a 2000 SiR was 700kms and that included an autocross event. Averaged usually about 550-650kms per tank over the 6 years I owned it.

Make sure you maintain the car properly and fix things the moment you notice them. Don't let issues linger. Find out why the engine light is on and fix it asap.

310miles = about 500kms. That's more like it.
