engine skipping under load
 

hi there, yesterday i changed my plugs in preparation for a drive clean... i used BOCSH platium...and now it's skipping under 3K rpm.

could i have over gaped the plugs? is this a common problem?

first problem....using BOSCH platinum.
Go buy some cheap NGK v-power. They're like $7 for a pack of two from crappy tire or part source.
What did you gap the plugs to?

1.1mm and i thought so as well....but for some reason in the canadian tire book they didn't have the NGK listed? but under the hood i saw an NGK number.

thats just over .040" and fine. check all your plug wires are secured properly at the plug and at the distributor

i just swapped out the bosch platinum for NGK regular plugs and then dropped the $100 on new wires...it's MUCH better now.
