Question Emissions Question

i'm going to be taking my car to get it e-tested wednesday and wondering what I could put into the car to lower emissions just to make sure this baby passes.

just do the basics, plugs, wires, oil change, air filter, pcv. thats what i did when mine was burning mad oil and she still passed!

make sure you bring the car in hot... u could always try the emmissions passing additive, but you need to add that in and drive it for a full tank, so it might be too late...

some guy told me once to drive the car hard before the emmissions test...he said it burns all the deposits or something like that...dont know if its true...if anyone has any imput on this let me know

u dont have to drive it hard, but like i said, make sure when you bring it in, its hot, so take it for a long drive before

best advice i can give ya

yeah, driving it hard will clean out the engine, but... if your car isn't running right, it's not magically gonna make it pass the e-test.

if ur really worried u could try and get a 2 speed test done.... its for cars that have no clutchs or guy like me who know my car wont pass the just run it a idel the run it a 2000rpm almost ever car i've done has passed

EMISSIONS is BULL ****

u drive the car hard to mainly get the Cat hot, if u run it with a cold cat, ur NOX will be tripled, and its very rare for a shop to do a 2 speed idle, its only for all time 4x4's, mistery would do it was done on 2 speed and they **** the shop over, well most the time, Best thing to do, is pump a tank of super,and drive it for a bit, take the car in hot, make sure spark plugs, and wires r good, and a lil tip, and if u fail try playin with the timing, and retard it a lil
