Dizzy Leaking oil

I have an Ls Vtec civic, and thought it was leaking oil from the fitting in the head. Turns out it is from the distributor, wondering if its time to replace the dizzy or is there an "o" ring inside. I checked the one that's similar to the cam seal and its not leaking from there. Seems like its coming from inside.
Anyone had this happen?

Probably not the Dist. O ring. There is a shaft seal inside the distributor at the base that is usually the problem. As long as the shaft is not worn or scored at that location, it can be disassembled and the seal replaced ($10-$20 seal cost). If you don't feel up to this, then you can check JDM import places that carry replacements distributors and "low mileage" (if you are a believer) used ones.
