well everything seems to be working fine without any problems but...
when i drove it the other day and i got to 7000rpm or so it seemed like the fuel was being cut off and the tach and car started jerking...
intrestingly enof at idle it doesnt do it when i rev that high

Umm.. I may be reading your post wrong, but from the sounds of it your hitting fuel cut off and the car is doing exactly what its supposed to. At idle when your rev it that rpm it will just stick around that rpm, it won't jerk or anything cuz your in neutral.

My H22 had fuel cut off @ 7400rpm.

Your ecu may be programmed to cut fuel at that rpm. It's a safety precaution to protect the engine from blowing.

if your car is at operating temp then ur fuel cut off should be at 8400, not 7000....the problem lies within ur tach, stock honda tachs pre obd1 suck balls, im having the same problem with my junk, along with other people i know....go pick up a good quality aftermarket tach and watch the difference
