Check Engine Reset
I would like to reset my check engine light (gas cap) - Civic 2001.
My mechanice reset it before without having to disconnect the battery, but I have do remember how he did it. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Your mechanic would have reset it with a scan tool. You can either buy one for about ~$80 or so, so you can check codes and reset in it the future, or just disconnect the battery.
