Car makes a click click sound 95 cx

I have a 95 cx hatch and on the drivers side there is a clicking noise from the front wheel well when I excel fast forward or backwards it only happens once when the car starts moving its not continuous.

I know I need new ball joints upper and lower but I don't think that would be from the ball joints maybe upper control arm has play in it?... any ideas?

Thanks

either upper control arm bushings are shot or wheel bearing...im leaning more toward wheel bearing tho..

can't say..but is the sound more like a grinding noise or just a tick...tickk..?
and when you turn does the sound get louder or same thing?

Wheel bearings don't "click" just makes a grinding sound. Could be the bushing or stablizer link. Best thing to do is throw it up on a hoist and check it out.

Also, if it happens during turns, it could be the CV joint... If it is, best thing to do is get a new axle...

I dont hear it when I turn, and its only a click click sound just once but there is a clunk sound if I go over a bump kinda fast. I was think about taking it to a shop, find out what needs work and do it at my house.

Sounds like the stablizer link to me..
