Burning Smell from AC !!! Is it normal ???

I have Honda Civic LX, 06. I find burning smell (not rubber burning) when I turn on the AC...the smell comes out "once in a while" ...but today, I dint even turn on the AC, & still found that smell...is it normal ?

Any burning smell is not normal. lol
