Battery size 08 Civic LX
 

So the battery for a 2008 Civic LX 2dr quit today... which seems rather quick considering less than 26,000kms on the thing...

Is not my car, but I will need to go get one and install on this civic...

Any suggestions, what size is it? I was hoping to get a spiral battery for it, but don't seems like there are one available that fit the factory slot... Might try a kirkland from costco...

I would stick with just a regular battery. No need for that fancy batteries, its not like you're going into competitions or anything. Costco has probably the best bang for buck. I bought a battery recently for an 03 accord, whhich I've been told is the same size, and it cost me 130 at partsource.

Any chance you know the size? So I can just go pick one up and install it on the car without going and take the dead battery out first... save me a trip...

Your best bet is to call and ask. Batteries aren't sold or stocked by size. Just like any other part, they have a part number and are sorted by that. Won't hurt you to call.

The accord was a 50R, I've been told its the same for a civic, but not 100% sure.
