adjusting shoes
 

I've got a 2004 civic with 32,000 kms. How do adjust the rear shoes? Honda wanted $50 to do this. I saw what looked like a plug in behind the drum. I'm guessing I would pull this and adjust from their. Any special tools needed? Any help would be appreciated.

Hey, you can turn the adjuster with a flat head from that plug. I usually jack up the wheel, take the tire and drum off and adjust it from the front. This way you can inspect your brake shoes and clean inside.
