AC condensor replacement - used / refurb?
 

I need to replace my AC condensor and have the option of looking for a used one or getting a refurbished one and dropping a lot of cash on it. Are there any people who have had theirs replaced and can comment and let me know if I should just stay away from a used one? I was told the refurbished ones carry a warranty and are sealed so nothings gets into them vs. if I picked up a used one (is this a big risk?)... Not sure what to do... any advice would be appreciated.

(sorry if this is in the wrong forum... it just didn't seem to fit under any of the other ones).

most used ones come with atleast a 30 day warranty, so its not like if you buy it you are stuck with it, you can always exchange it. Used one is prolly gonna run you about 80 bucks, i am not sure how much the new one is.

buy refurbished. The price of refridgerant is getting insane again.
