99 civic si car accelerating problem

I got a few of problems with my 99 civic si. Its a manual and its stock and owned it for about a year and a half.

My CEL has gone on and its a code 90. I knew it was a missing gas cap and I replaced it and teh CEL went away, but recently came back. Now it wont go away.

Second my ABS light code is weird. when I do teh jumper trick, the sequence goes like this. Long flash, 6 short flashes, Long flash, and 8 short flashes. I've checked out teh codes but it does seem to exist. Anyone know what this is?

Finally this just recently happened. Lately when I drive teh car and I try to accelerate it doesnt seem to accelerate in between a certain rpm range or when I push my gas pedal down a certain distance. Its not just acceleration problems but while this is happening I can feel like a vibrating/pulsing in teh gas pedal. I noticed this after i took it through one of those drive through car washes. after it gets to about 3000 rpm it stops and accelerates normally! When I just keep the gas pedal down adn just let it happen the CEL light flashes 9 times.

I'd like to know if anyone knows what this problem is before i take it into a mechanic to take a look at it.

oh my ****ing god.... do you even know what a flashing CEL means??? basically, a FLASHING CEL means to shut the car off immediately and have it towed from there. a SOLID CEL just means there has been a non-critical malfunction that has set a code, and you should get it checked out when you can.

Code 90 is EVAP Emission Control System Leak Detected (Fuel Tank System) - not always the gas cap... it could be the evap canister in the engine bay too.

Your ABS codes are:

16 - wheel senor (electrical noise/intermittent interuption) RR
18 - wheel senor (electrical noise/intermittent interuption) RL

Finally, your driveability issue seems to be misfiring. Whether it's an ignition problem, or something related to your fuel system fault.... take your car to the dealership immediately and have them service it. Your car sounds abused and neglected... be ready to pay about $500 or so for a complete and proper service. Trust me, your car needs it. I like Parkway Honda for this type of service.

my guess is that it has something to do with his CEL. possibly a loss in fuel pressure?
my buddies car did the same thing, he checked the fuel pressure and it was out of spec. he then changed his fuel filter and it was back to normal.

he's obviously got more than one problem... I think it's time to have the dealership perform all the service up to that mileage.
