91 Civic tach bounces
 
All of a sudden my tach bounces wildly above 2000rpm. There is also some hesitation in the engine between 2000 and 3000rpm. Feels like intermittent fuel pump or lack of firing. I'm thinking more the latter because of the bizarre tach movement. Anybody know the problem?

Replaced 2 years ago. Battery has no problem keeping a charge. I really don't think that's it. I'm thinking ignitor.

How many km's since the last full tune-up?

It was the ignitor / igniter. Replaced by the Don Valley auto while I waited. Runs perfect now.
