2000 sir rims on 97 civic lx
Looking for some insight.
About six months ago I replaced the original 185\65\14 tires and rims that came with my 97 civic lx with 2000 sir 195\55\15 tires and rims. I now have some cupping going on and the tires feel like crap. A friend of mine told me that since I went from the original size 14 inch tire to a 15 inch I will have to install a camber kit or I will always have the same problem. Does anyone know if this is true or should I be looking at something else.

this is entirely untrue. the civic had optional wheels in the 15 inch size, it will behave as OEM equipment should - there should be no issues whatsoever.
is the cupping happening just on one corner? or all 4 wheels? is your tire pressure correct? what's the mileage on the car? is it modified in any way besides the rims? what kind of tires?
