02 Si lock actuator

My locks on my EM civic stopped working but the signal is clearly getting to the car because the lights flash. In any case, both doors stopped working at the same time and I've pretty much been told the problem lies in the actuator.

Now, I've been told there's one actuator in the drivers door that controls both locks and ive also been told there's a seperate actuator in each door. Does anyone know which is correct.

Also, Im having trouble finding a part # as no two honda dealerships give me the same part #, anyone know what it is?

Thanks...

Thanks bro. But can you, or anyone else, clarify why both door locks went at the same time? I was kind of leaning towards one part in the drivers door explanation because it fit my problem the best. Is it common for both actuators to go at the same time?

It could be a fuse maybe.

Best way to find out is to actually look.

If you know how, take off the interior door panel trim and look for the lock actuators then check for power.

Both are correct. There is one actuator in the drivers door that locks / unlocks both doors and there is one in the pass. door that locks unlocks the pass door only.

Lights flashing only means that your receiver in the car has accepted communication from your remote tranmitter.

Check your fuses and the D.L switches on both doors to see they work when you operate them manually.
