wire for the clutch safety switch?
 
i can't find the wire for the clutch safety switch?

i looked up under the dash and cound not find it

i drive a 96 EK hatch!

anyone know where it is?

how do you disable the clutch......... the safety when starting the car???

You have to add a relay so it will let join the two clutch wires when the car is starting.

couldnt you put some kinda jump cable between each switch, or ground them both out so that the ecu will belive the clutch is always pushed in.

Why does the clutch need to be pushed in to start it anyways?

I had a mk2 jetta, an u can start it regardless of clutch position

it is a safety device so you don't start it with it connected to the engine........................preventing it from jumping 2 feet ahead!
