Arrow Window Trrim Removal (93 Civic)

hey all

I was wondering how to remove the window trim which goes around the top and down the side of the window on the door opening and the one on accross the window with the rubber(pic attached). what is ur trick to do it without breaking clips?

I attempted to remove the one below and broke 2 clips, are they replaceable?

Thanks all
Josh

from what i can those clips cost about 3.50-5.00 each.

easiest way to remove the body trim is to take a putty knife.
use a phillips head to take off the screw in the front then using a putty knife slide it thru the trim until you hit the clip and then raise the knife up on an angle and that will release it from its hold.
go all the way down to the last one at the back.

the door one there are multiple ways.
the fastest way is to roll the window down completely and again using a putty knife insert it into the trim and bend the trim back and it will release it.

dont hold me responsible for it tho. these clips are super fragile and super expensive and if your asking how to do it chances are you will break it cuz you dont know how to do it. imo get it done by someone who knows. i do this on a regular basis so for me its something that takes less than 10 minutes to take every trim off on a car.
