Window problem PLS HELP!!!!

Hello,

I have a 1996 Civic hatchback and I can't roll my driver side window to the top. I tried to roll it as high as possible and it seems like if I force it even more, the window is going to break.

Anyone know what's wrong with my window and the cost to fix this problem?

Thanks!

dose it seem or look to be off its track? take your door skin off (carfully) and inspect it with a flash light roll window up and down till you find out whats going on. sounds like its off track if so unbolt track and place window back in track then rebolt dont force window into track without unbolting it may shatter! if it shatters clean up mess and duck tape it. joken GetRdone your self save some cash!

I've heard that after people have put the window back in its track, it gets off its track again after a few weeks/months...

Is this true? Also, if that is my case, how can I fix THAT problem?

no it shouldnt fall back off track unless the rubber in the track is no good, in that case pull the track out of the door and replace the hole thing the plastic at the bottom of the window may be worn out too causing it to fall out track just pull your skin off take a look you wont hurt anything, get that window up its dam cold out!!

i knocked my passenger side window off it's ****ty track installing new speakers and dicked around with it for a full day. once u take off the door panel you'll see how messed up it is. gonna have to unbolt the window from the track (2 bolts) then pull the window out, match it to the track then push it back down and mate it to the track.

the problem is that the track is extremely inaccessible and also that the track shifts when the window is being rolled up so.... it's a pain in the ***. mine still isnt fixed but after hours in freezing weather trying to fix that **** i finally got the track adjusted to the point where i could roll the window all the way up as long as i pushed it hard one way with my hand but i just took the **** off so that nobody is gonna roll the window down and F it up for me again.

i'm not even gonna bother fixing it more since i was gonna get new doors anyway it just pisses me off that it's so ridiculously flimsy.
