VHT Penetrating Color Dye vs. Folia Tec Interior Paint--- Please Read
Has anyone ever painted a vinyl surface in their car? I.e. the dash or the door panels etc?
I've been told to use either VHT Penetrating Color Dye or Folia Tec interior dye
has anyone ever used those?
Does anyone know the proper process for prepping and such?
if so let me know, any help would be appreciated!
thanx

My buddy painted his whole interior with VHT. This stuff worked great, use the VHT clear coat as well. It comes up really shinny but make sure you do it in an open area. This stuff smell's bad unless you like the dissy feeling. Clean all the panels and then wipe with rubbing alcohol and you should have no problems.

the vht works awesome i did the door panels on my car and it worked good. the only problem was i taped it wrong so i have to do the whole door now. i also did my rear seat, it worked really well except I didn't let it dry enough adn I smudged some so I'm revynling it all. work good though
just do the door panels and dash.

I got it in oshawa at tool tyme.
6 bottles for $70
i did my whole doors adn my whole back seat.
The centres of the back seats i did blue. I'm reapolstring my seats now because teh seats it turned out awful.
teh doors it turned out great.
You really have to wash down the stuff you want to paint good first. Then scrub it clean.
then tape what you don't want painted really good. Watch teh over spray that hurts (I did it)
then go
doors adn dashes it looks awesome.
